We fish the Massachusetts area, including Ipswich Bay, Ipswich River, Essex Bay, Atlantic Ocean, Plum Island Sound.
What are the target fish?
Target fish include Striped Bass, Atlantic Cod, Bluefish, Striped Bass, Summer Flounder, Haddock, Blue Shark, Bluefin Tuna, Porbeagle Shark, Shortfin Mako Shark, Thresher Shark
Where in Massachusetts to we meet our guests?
We meet at Lowe Island Fish Camp (28 John Wise Lane, Essex, MA 01929, USA)
Do I need a STATE Fishing license?
No Fishing license required
Where do I get a STATE Fishing license?
Massachusetts requires a license to fish in fresh water for those 15 or older. Those under 15 can fish in fresh water for free without a license. If you're 16 or older, you need a permit to fish in salt water. You do not need a permit if you have a valid saltwater fishing permit from CT, NH, or RI, or if you are fishing on a permitted for-hire vessels. Those under 16 can fish in salt water for free without a license.
How much should I Tip?
It is customary to tip 20% of the trip total. We work tirelessly to make sure you have a guest experience!
Do I need to bring my own gear?
No, we provide standard gear such as rods and reels so you don’t need to worry about anything. But please feel free to bring you own gear if you prefer.
